 After
raising a family of five children, Jane turned her hand to providing
Bed & Breakfast accommodations for travelers to Niagara for
eight years. This was our initiation into the hospitality industry.
A love of Algonquin Park and the Haliburton Highlands area, nurtured
by family camping adventures and cross-country skiing finally lured
us to Dorset and the Nordic Inn. We hope to have many new adventures
with our children, grand children, friends and guests.
For Jane, whose interests include spinning of wool from our friendly
llamas, gardening, cooking and preserving, this new adventure offered
her many opportunities to share her interests with our guests.
Andre is looking forward to sharing his outdoor talents for canoeing,
hiking, cross country skiing and photography, learned as a scout
and scout leader for over forty years.
Join Jane and Andre for llama treks to prisitine Charcoal Lake.
Andre is looking forward to exploring local canoe routes through
the Leslie Frost Center with whoever will accompany him.
